Third Day of Treatment - Update

Thank you to all the visitors who came to see Erica this weekend as well as all the comments, thoughts and prayers for all those who are not in the area to see her in person.

This Sunday evening as Erica begins her 3rd day of treatment, normal and expected side effects, mainly flu like symptoms have started effecting her. She is still her normal, strong self, just a little more tired. Erica, Christian and her family ask that anyone planning to visit her in the next couple of days try to coordinate with Christian and her family before coming as she is starts tiring more easily.

She is thankful for the several really good days and wonderful visits with family and friends and hopes to get back on track soon. Please continue to post messages as you can, as she loves reading them or having them read to her.

Erica, You looked incredible today! You are a true inspiration of strength and courage. Medicine, as we know, is of the utmost importance. It is nothing however without a strong spirit, a heart full of love, a mind ready to persevere and of course a witty sense of humor always helps. So let that medicine do its little little part and you keep showing it who's boss! ;) We are thinking about you and praying for you always Erica, Christian, and Lipman and Lopez families. Our love, Jason, Chandra and Xander

Amen to that Jason! Erica-
Yesterday's visit to see you was a blast! Thank goodness you are strong enough now to hold court the way you should be. Our stroll around the pavilion was my only exercise, so thanks for that too. Wish I could be changing your cold compress right now! Uhh. Maybe I should just say...Can't wait to see you soon!

Tony is having trouble accessing this site, so I thought I would send some love from him too.

Erica--I think about you all the time and you are constantly in my prayers. I've never prayed for anything so hard in my life. I have all kinds of people praying for you, including people who don't even know you. I know you are fighting hard and your strong spirit will overcome this. You have so many people surrounding you in love and holding you up in prayer. I'm going to come visit within the next couple of weeks, and I have something very fun that I'm going to bring with me that will bring back old memories and make us laugh. Be strong and know that you are loved.
Love you, Kim

Christian, Janna, Judy, Art, Cory, Todd--You too are in my prayers every day. Thank you for keeping us posted through the blog, and thank you for taking care of Erica. I pray that we, your friends and family, are helping to take care of you in any way we can. You are a blessing to Erica and to all of us. I will coordinate with you guys when I have a chance to visit. Thank you so much.
Kim

Please know that Troy and I send our love and that you, Christian and your families are constantly in our thoughts. You are so strong, I know you'll get through these tough times with flying colors. Can't wait to talk to you.

Erica,

I talked to Susan Falkofske for a long time last night. She said you were doing well with the chemo and that y'all had a great visit. I am thinking about you every day and wish so badly that I could come see you right now. Stay strong and know that you have so many friends who are cheering you on and who believe in you and your ability to overcome this. We love you down here in the South.

Erica, I'm sending out my love, prayers, and thoughts to you (and your family) from me, Mom, Kim and Jason (her husband), my significant other, Marvin (and his family), we are all rooting for you from here to Massachusetts!!! He and his brother (Larry) met you (and the rest of the Church gang) on my 17th Birthday party at my house 1990. How time flies? They still remember you. :-) I’m letting you know, we are keeping you, Christian, Todd, Jana, Cory, et al, the Lipman and Lopez families in our prayers. I love you lots! Erica,
I have been keeping up to date with your blog. I'm not a "blogger" so for the first time I'm getting my initiation. The staff at Excel has been so supportive and wants to know how everything has been going. Bronwyn has kept us in the loop and done a fine job. I had a cold this week and weekend and decided that with Haiti and your immune status, you didn't need any of my little bugs to contend with. I leave in a few hours for Haiti with Greg and I'll check your blog if I can. I continue to pray for you and your healing. I also pray for Christian and family for strength, courage, and endurance. May God grant you comfort and power through these next steps. Your patients miss you, as well as the rest of us,
Paul
