Good Sunday Morning from the hospital. Good news! Erica is looking and feeling great (so is Christian:)). Erica slept well last night and is really handling the bio/chem therapy well -- take that bum liver! Today's agenda includes: visits with family and friends, small liquid meals and a shower - with a new hair do (regrettably without star stylist Star's assistance).

I’m so happy to hear that your first round of biochemo is going well. I was thinking the other day of that little doll that was perched on your dashboard when we made our way to San Diego all those years ago. Remember her? I found her in the sand of Lake Michigan when we were visiting Sarah. And I declared that she would be our good luck charm and ensure us safe passage. She did. I imagine her now perched on your hospital bed, watching over you. May she bring you to safety now as she did then. You’ve got on-going prayers from the Mannon/Herman/Hanly clan.
